Rhodes France Scout Reservation

Rhodes France Scout Reservation is operated by Lincoln Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America. The camp is located south east of Pana, IL and is 640 acres of Scouting paradise. With 2 lakes, an in ground swimming pool, excellent shooting sports facilities, and a climbing tower, Scouts will never be short of things to do.

The Summer Camp Program at Rhodes France Scout Reservation offers over 40 merit badges, an excellent first year "Pathfinder" program, Scuba certification, horsemanship, and a unique 50-Mile Challenge Camp. All of these activities are led by an energetic and enthusiastic staff ready to serve your every need.

2013 will mark the 33rd camping season at Rhodes France Scout Reservation. Over the years, the camp has developed a great program and the staff and camp administration is looking forward to serving your troop. The 2013 Leader's Guide will be available in December and will give you every detail you need in order to have a great week at camp.

Pathfinder Program - This program is designed specifically for first year Scouts. They will work on rank advancement requirements from Tenderfoot - First Class as well as Swimming and First Aid Merit Badges. They will also learn more about the camp and the other program areas.

Scuba Program - This program is for Scouts 14 years old and up and includes both the Scuba Merit Badge and PADI certification. The highlight of the week for the Scuba program is an off-site open water dive at a rock quarry.

50-Miler Challenge Camp - This program, designed for 1st Class Scouts and higher who have completed the 8th grade, will take Scouts out of RFSR for a three day trek covering 50 miles by bikes, on foot, and by canoes. Scouts completing this program will have earned the coveted 50 Miler award.
